VBT – Voyageur Bait and Tackle

Are you friendly, reliable, motivated and love the outdoors? We’re hiring Customer Service Representative/Gas Attendants to join our team at a locally owned gas station and bait shop in beautiful Northwestern Ontario. This is your chance to be part of a welcoming community hub that serves both locals and tourists year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

Operate fuel pumps and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions

Stock and maintain the bait shop (fishing gear, tackle, live bait, etc.)

Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, and outdoor areas

Answer customer questions about products, services, and local fishing/hunting info

Monitor and refill propane tanks (once training acquired)

Perform basic inventory and restocking duties

What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude

Ability to work independently and handle multitasking

Basic math and cash-handling skills

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather

Reliability and punctuality is a must

Previous retail or gas station experience is an asset, but not required

Available to work shifts starting at 6:00 am & Available to work shifts ending at 8:00 pm

Ideally able to work 20 to 40 hours per week

Casual, friendly work environment

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour
