Day shift - Full time - Seasonal (summer)

Reporting to the Mountain Maintenance and Snowmaking Team Leader, you will be called upon to perform a variety of tasks on the ski mountain and Destination Owl's Head territory.

WE OFFER YOU THIS :

• Starting hourly wage: $17.25;
• Seasonal, full-time status (with possibility of year-round employment);
• Fixed weekday schedule, with exceptional possibility of weekend work.

• Carry out brushcutting, pruning and felling on DOH territory;
• Maintain trails and mountain site (supplemental seeding, clear culverts and drainage gutters, control sediment and erosion);
• Transport equipment and people on the mountain using various types of vehicles;
• Maintain snowmaking system equipment;
• Carry out any other task assigned to him/her by his/her immediate superior and necessary for the smooth running of the company.

Requirements, skills
and qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (asset)
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads on a regular basis (up to 20 kg);
• Hold a valid driver’s license
• Able to work in difficult climatic conditions
• Good physical condition and endurance
• Practical knowledge of operating machinery or motorized vehicles, with technical and manual dexterity (an asset)
• Experience in tree cutting (asset);
• Be proactive in managing tasks;
• Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness
