Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions in Winnipeg is seeking a temporary full-time Customer Service Specialist to cover a maternity leave for 8 months. You will establish and grow relationships with customers, handle order entry, and address inquiries by phone and email.

You will coordinate order confirmations, changes, and cancellations, track shipments, resolve issues with sales and operations, and process credits and returns.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Prophet 21).
• Ability to work with diverse business areas including plant and sales.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow customer relationships through advocacy and issue resolution.
• Handle order entry and maintenance for assigned accounts.
• Answer inbound calls from current and potential customers.
• Communicate order confirmations, changes, and cancellations to customers and internal teams.
• Identify customer needs and deliver exceptional service.
• Determine shipping methods and track orders for timely delivery.
• Resolve conflicts with delivery schedules and service issues.
• Process credits, returns, and pallet returns; initiate credits.
• Maintain accurate account information; perform other duties as assigned.
