Job summary

EMCO Corporation in Ontario is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide sales support to customers via telephone, email and walk-ins at our Profit Centres, delivering the highest level of service, answering inquiries, and helping close sales to increase profit-sharing.

In this role you will grow the customer base, research products, enter orders, follow up on quotes and backorders, resolve issues, and collaborate with Counter and Outside Sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college/university degree an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office to communicate by email, analyze data and manage contacts.
• Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building with customers, vendors and teammates.
• Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales support to customers via telephone, email and walk-ins at Profit Centres.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service, answer inquiries, generate leads and close sales.
• Support the Outside Sales function as part of the team.
• Answer calls and emails, research products and provide recommendations.
• Enter sales orders from Profit Centre customers and follow up on backorders.
• Grow and retain customers and develop new business for the Profit Centre.
• Process returns and warranty claims in line with procedures; resolve issues promptly.
