This is an on-call/casual position (up to 40 hours per month)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Provide high standards of service to customers in accordance with the Skyservice philosophy, ensuring efficient and courteous arrivals and departures of customers.
  2. Communicate via ground/air Unicoms and radios.
  3. Maintain clear and concise communications between line crew and concierge; ensure proper coordination with the courtesy van drivers.
  4. Maintain, monitor, and update the systems (may not be required at all locations).
  5. Bill and update the landing fee system (Toronto only).
  6. Remain vigilant with security protocols and situational awareness.
  7. Ensure communication and coordination between customers, line service, and staff.
  8. Coordinate fueling, catering, car rental, hotel booking, and reservations.
  9. Answer the general phone lines and forward the calls to the appropriate person.
  10. Ensure that all areas of the FBO are clean at all times.
  11. Ensure coffee, condiments, and snacks are restocked regularly.
  12. Take customer and flight crew orders for goods or services; promote goods or services; respond to inquiries and emergencies; investigate complaints and update accounts.
  13. Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. Two years’ experience in a customer service environment.
  2. Ability to deliver service that is courteous, discreet, efficient, and professional.
  3. Knowledge of the standard NATO phonetic alphabet.
  4. Proactive, sees and understands the customers’ needs.
  5. Strong organizational skills, resourceful.
  6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to provide a positive attitude while working in a group.
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  9. Available to work on different shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.

EDUCATION:

  1. Post-secondary education is an asset.
