Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is seeking an organized accounting clerk in Alberta to support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative tasks at the branch. The role requires attention to detail, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a valid Canadian driver's license.

You will reconcile payments, print and manage daily reports, maintain confidential records, and assist with inventory control.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Accounts payable/receivable experience is an asset.
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable under supervision.
• Reconcile cheque and credit card payments daily and post to customer accounts with accuracy.
• Print Daily Reports such as End of Day Report and Payments Listing.
• Maintain confidential office records and files for daily transactions (invoices, stock transfers, shipments).
• Complete administrative correspondence.
• Assist with inventory control and receiving shipments; uphold Nutrien's standards.

What You'll Do:

• Under the direction of the Branch Manager and/or Assistant Manager, monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit limits
• Reconciles cheque and credit card payments daily. Receives and posts payments to customer accounts - while ensuring 100% accuracy
• Prints Daily Reports as required under Policy and Procedures including the "End of Day Report" and "Payments Listing"
• Maintains confidential office records and files covering daily transactions made at the facility that includes customer invoices, stock transfers, and shipment notices
• Completes administrative correspondence
• Assists with inventory control and receiving shipments of supplies and/or inventoryChampion Nutrien's culture of care and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory, and EH&S standards

What You'll Bring:

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Accounts payable experience, an asset
• Accounts Receivable experience, an asst
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver's license
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Previous SAP experience, an asset
