Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions (Nutrien) is hiring an Administrative Clerk to monitor accounts payable/receivable and support branch operations. The role supports the Branch Manager with daily financial tasks, payment posting, and inventory-related duties in a fast-paced retail environment across North America, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of customer service experience, basic SAP knowledge is a plus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Accounts payable experience, an asset.
• Accounts receivable experience, an asset.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous SAP experience, an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable under supervision.
• Reconcile payments and post to customer accounts with accuracy.
• Print daily reports including End of Day and Payments Listing.
• Maintain confidential office records of daily transactions and shipments.
• Complete administrative correspondence.
• Assist with inventory control and receiving shipments of supplies.
• Champion Nutrien’s culture of care and comply with EH&S standards.

What You'll Do

• Under the direction of the Branch Manager and/or Assistant Manager, monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit limits
• Reconciles cheque and credit card payments daily. Receives and posts payments to customer accounts – while ensuring 100% accuracy
• Prints Daily Reports as required under Policy and Procedures including the “End of Day Report” and “Payments Listing”
• Maintains confidential office records and files covering daily transactions made at the facility that includes customer invoices, stock transfers, and shipment notices
• Completes administrative correspondence
• Assists with inventory control and receiving shipments of supplies and/or inventory
• Champion Nutrien’s culture of care and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory, and EH&S standards
