Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines in Prince George, BC is seeking a Permanent Part Time Customer Service, Call Centre, and Cargo Agent to join our family-oriented, safety-minded team. This role emphasizes call centre duties (75%) and requires excellent phone and people skills in a dynamic, sometimes challenging environment.

You will respond to fare inquiries, book reservations, check in passengers, issue boarding passes, manage cargo shipments, and assist passengers with accessibility needs, always

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive, ever changing environment with multitasking and problem solving.
• Comfortable using computers and payment machines.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone inquiries regarding fares, schedules, routings, etc.
• Book, change and cancel flight reservations
• Resolve service disruption issues over the phone and in person, determining alternative flight options
• Check-in passengers, issue boarding passes, verify immigration documents
• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure
• Process cargo shipments
• Promote company products and services at all times
• Commit to providing a safe, stress-free, and friendly passenger experience
• Deliver service standards in line with Pacific Coastal Airlines philosophy
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs safely and professionally
• Other duties as assigned
