Job summary

McKee Tirecraft in Collingwood is seeking a Customer Sales Representative to drive exceptional service for customers at the front counter and over the phone. You’ll write up work orders, handle service calls, and process invoices for products and services.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, basic mechanical knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and solid communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site hourly role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a customer-facing role.
• Retail and/or commercial tire/auto knowledge is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
• Computer literacy for POS and transactions.
• Basic mechanical and tire understanding required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Write up work orders for sales and service and present to Technicians.
• Handle service calls, write work orders and dispatch Technicians as needed.
• Invoice product and service sales and process payments promptly.
• Assist at front counter and on the phone to deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor service activities to ensure timely completion and FIFO workflow.
• Assist Store Manager with product selection and inventory levels.
• Complete product adjustments and manufacturer claim forms as required.
• Maintain displays and keep the shop looking clean and marketable.

Responsibilities:

• Write up work orders for all sales and service transactions and present to the Technicians.
• Take all “service calls” telephone requests, write up work orders and dispatch Tire Service Tech(s) accordingly.
• Invoice all product and service sales once complete and process payment immediately.
• Handle sales and service at the front counter and on the telephone, with a strong focus on facilitating the best possible customer service.
• Monitor all service activities to ensure work is completed on a “first in – first out” basis and that it is completed in a timely manner.
• Provide Store Manager with assistance/input concerning product selection and inventory levels for the retail shop.
• Complete product adjustments, including manufacturer claim forms, on a timely basis.
• Maintain product and service displays in a marketable and clean appearance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership position
• Previous experience in retail and commercial tire/automotive industry an asset
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Computer literate
• Basic mechanical and tire understanding
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
