Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of the product suite including accounts, loans, mortgages, investments and insurance.
  • Gain exposure to digital tools for tracking conversations and managing relationships.
  • Understand how laws and regulations affect international clients.
  • Assist in soliciting business opportunities by providing banking services and opening personal accounts.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing quality customer relationships.
  • Provide administrative support as directed by the supervisor.

Job Summary:

This internship will prepare one for a thriving career as a Relationship Manager of our bank upon graduation. The intern will gain a comprehensive insight into the Wealth and Personal Banking function as the role will work with various different teams in wealth management, personal banking, insurance businesses, information technology, and product development and strategy departments. He/she will develop the knowledge required to succeed as a Relationship Manager, while working closely with these different areas of businesses to meet the needs of our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with different teams to understand how they support our clients with everything from everyday banking to long‑term financial planning.
  • Gain an understanding of our product suite - from current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management.
  • Gain exposure to different digital tools and understand how they track conversations, manage relationships, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Understand how different laws and regulations affect our international clients.
  • Assist in soliciting business opportunities by providing quality banking services and handling personal account opening.
  • Assist in maintaining, developing and retaining quality customer relationships.
  • Provide administrative support for any tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • University students in a relevant discipline,
  • Relationship building and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of investment and related financial products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience in wealth management is a plus
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, including both spoken Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Must be available for a full‑time internship for three consecutive months between May and August 2027.
