Job summary

Canduct Industries in London, ON is hiring a Customer Production Coordinator to act as the liaison between customers and production. This on-site role supports order creation, BOM review, and due-date coordination to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in customer service, reads blueprints, and is proficient with ERP systems and MS Excel/Word. On-site, day shift, with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of customer service experience.
  • Diploma in Engineering or business-related fields is an asset.
  • Ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Production knowledge and computer savvy.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an asset.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer records by updating account information.
  • Receive and create customer orders in Visual ERP system.
  • Read, analyze and organize Bills of Materials and drawings.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions for components.
  • Coordinate with Planning to obtain due dates and create work orders.
  • Collaborate with Production, Shipping to fulfill customer needs.
  • Monitor order status, delivery times and shipping status.
  • Resolve issues with Quality/Production and follow up for satisfaction.
  • Keep records of inquiries, complaints and actions taken.
  • Prepare pre-shipping documents for shippers.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards.

Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. We are looking for a Customer Production Coordinator in London, ON.

Reporting to the CSR Manager, this individual will act as a liaison between customers and the production team – providing administrative support.

This position will be 100% on site at our facility in London, Ontario and work the Day shift from 7:00AM to 4:00PM Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintains customer records by updating account information.
  • Receives and creates customer orders by gathering, analyzing, and inputting data into the Company’s Visual ERP system.
  • Read, analyze and organize customers Bill of Materials and drawings.
  • Prepares purchase requisitions for purchased components.
  • Works closely with the Planning team to obtain manufacturing due dates and prepares product work orders.
  • Work with Production Supervisors, Lead Hands and Shipping department to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Monitor and advise customers of order status, delivery times and shipping status.
  • Resolves product or service challenges with the Quality/Production departments by clarifying the customers’ issues/requests, solving the problem, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Prepare pre-shipping documents for shipper (manifest list/weights, package specifications, Customer order pricing updates based on shipping weights, etc.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned within your department.
Qualified Candidates will have:
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • Diploma in Engineering or business-related fields are an asset.
  • The ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Production knowledge and computer savvy.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems is an asset.
  • Intermediate-to-advance Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
  • A proactive individual with the ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a dynamic team setting.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
