Job summary

Cole International is seeking an entry-level Customer Onboarding Specialist in Calgary, Alberta. You will guide new clients through account setup, documentation, and implementation, while partnering with Global Trade and Logistics specialists and internal teams.

You’ll organize details, solve problems, and communicate clearly to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service, building strong client relationships and driving successful onboarding.

Qualifications

  • University degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in client onboarding, account coordination, customer success, or a related role; experience in customs brokerage or logistics is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documentation in accordance with CBSA requirements.
  • Guide new clients through account setup, documentation, and required processes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding period.
  • Provide training, resources, and support to help clients understand Cole’s services.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Accounting, and other internal teams to ensure information and materials are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Support Global Trade and Logistics Specialists with post-sale activities.
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up to keep implementation milestones on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records in CRM and other software systems.
  • Identify issues, coordinate solutions, and help ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing service teams.
  • Build positive client experiences that strengthen trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Share feedback and identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes.

What You'll Bring
