Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada is looking for Sales Associates who provide fast, friendly service and actively help customers pick the right products for their projects. You will greet, engage, and thank customers while building product knowledge and guiding them toward complete project solutions.

You’ll promote services, understand customer needs, stock and display items, and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to engage customers and assess project needs.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers.
• Actively seek customers and escort to appropriate merchandise.
• Ask open-ended questions to determine needs and expertise.
• Promote services like Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, Pro Services.
• Discuss options and educate customers about the whole project.
• Execute daily stock maintenance and keep products signed and displayed.
• Maintain knowledge of department products and related services.
• Follow safety and loss prevention policies.
