Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate in Pembroke, ON. You will assist customers, zone your area, and carry out tasks from the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager while upholding Walmart’s Basic Beliefs and values.

Responsibilities include confidentiality, inventory control, pricing accuracy, and equipment calibration in the prescription filling area. Minimum age 16+; starting pay is CAD 17.75 per hour. On-site location at 1108 Pembroke St E, Pembroke, ON.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
