Job summary

Walmart Canada in Saskatoon is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate to assist customers, maintain assigned area presentation, and carry out tasks from the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager while upholding Walmart’s Basic Beliefs and values.

The role includes maintaining confidentiality, supporting department sales, stock rotation, zoning, and proper labeling procedures, with a focus on accuracy and cleanliness of the workspace. The minimum hourly rate starts at $15.50.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to maximize department sales with guidance from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Adherence to Walmart Basic Beliefs and values.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
