Job summary

Walmart Canada in New Westminster, BC is hiring an Over-the-Counter Associate to assist customers, maintain the OTC area, and support the Pharmacy Manager by executing delegated tasks while upholding Walmart's Basic Beliefs.

Responsibilities include protecting patient privacy, rotating stock, pricing labels, proper ordering, keeping the area clean, calibrating equipment used in prescription filling, and contributing to department sales. Starting wage from 18.40 CAD per hour.

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
