Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate to assist customers and maintain a well-organized OTC department in Calgary. You will zone the area, follow department procedures, and support the Pharmacy Manager to maximize sales while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires compliance with privacy laws, stock rotation, and accurate pricing/ labeling. Experience with calibration of equipment used in prescription filling is a plus. Minimum wage starts at CAD 16.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with focus on confidentiality.
• Attention to detail in stocking, zoning and pricing processes.
• Ability to follow department procedures for ordering, signage and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for: Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area NC0 and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
