Job summary

Lee Valley Tools Ltd. is seeking a customer-focused associate to support orders and in-store service, including checkout, returns, and helping customers locate items in the showroom.

With 1–2 years in retail and an interest in woodworking or gardening, you will follow established procedures, assist with inventory movement, and contribute to a friendly, discount-enabled shopping experience. In Ottawa region, on-site role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail is an asset.
• Experience in skilled crafts (woodworking or gardening) is a significant asset.
• Follows set procedures with routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process in-store payments and cash handling.
• Place items on hold and follow procedures.
• Look up customer numbers and assist with orders.
• Process exchanges and returns using set procedures.
• Fill customer orders and provide product information.
• Greet customers on entry and help locate items.
• Restock displays and assist with on-floor demos.
• Assist in receiving and shelving delivered products.
