Job summary

The Casual Custodian at Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board provides a safe and clean environment for staff and students by performing general cleaning and maintenance duties around the school property and grounds. Shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis, Monday to Friday, at an hourly wage of $25.29 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay effective September 1, 2025.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial and/or cleaning experience is required;
• Previous custodial and/or cleaning experience in a school environment is an asset;
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient computer skills are required; experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
