Job summary

Queen's University is seeking a Supervisor, Operations within Custodial Support Services to lead custodial activities on assigned shifts and collaborate with the Manager to meet Service Level Standards.

The role engages frontline staff, conducts QA audits, removes obstacles to performance, participates in recruitment, and ensures training and compliance with health and safety policies, including weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with service level standards (SLS) audits.
• Ability to train and orient new staff.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Experience in recruitment support.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial activities on assigned shift to meet SLS.
• Conduct QA audits and remove roadblocks for frontline staff.
• Participate in recruitment and orient new staff on safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure staff compliance with health and safety policies and training.
• Be available for weekends and emergency call-ins as required.
