The Sexual Violence Prevention and Support Centre (Centre) is a tri-campus service dedicated to creating a campus environment free from sexual violence. It supports the university community through support, education, and resources, aiming to foster a culture of consent, care, and accountability.
The Centre develops evidence-based curricula on sexual violence prevention, incorporating diverse stakeholder knowledge, including Indigenous perspectives. The Curriculum Development and Training Coordinator will research, develop, and evaluate educational materials, conduct needs assessments, and manage related projects to promote a culture of consent.
Additionally, the role involves facilitating training and workshops across the university for various audiences, ensuring accessibility and multi-modality delivery. The incumbent will also support logistical needs, including commuting and material transport.
