The University of Ottawa is seeking Proctors (CUPE) for the Fall 2026 semester at Main Campus to supervise exams and ensure integrity during assessments. This role supports undergraduate and graduate exams under the Département de Biologie, Faculty of Science.
Shifts run from September 1 to December 31, 2026, with hourly rates of $31.44 or $37.73, depending on student status. Rates exclude vacation and statutory pay; retroactive pay will follow ratification of a new collective agreement.

Hourly Rate: Surveillant / Proctor : $31.44 ou/or $37.73 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified.
Retro will be paid after the ratification.
