Job summary

The City of Delta is seeking dynamic Voice Instructors to teach recreational voice programs for all ages and abilities. The Leader will develop and implement quality, instructional, and engaging private voice lessons.

Interviews may be conducted throughout the posting period. A police information check may be required for preferred candidates, and copies of certificates should be submitted with the application. The City emphasizes diversity and equal opportunity in its workforce.

Qualifications

• Ongoing personal and/or professional practice in voice.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and can take initiative with little supervision.
• Responsible and punctual.
• Strong customer service skills with classroom management and organizational skills.
• Able to create lesson plans for a series of sessional lessons.
• Willing to work 2–4-hour shifts in Tsawwassen, Ladner, and/or North Delta.

The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $31.00 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits. Interviews may be conducted throughout the posting period.
