Job summary

Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) seeks a Community Reconnection Navigator to provide culturally grounded navigation, advocacy, reintegration support, and WAV program facilitation for individuals involved with the justice system.

This full-time contract role collaborates with CSC, BC Corrections, Indigenous justice groups, Elders, and the multidisciplinary Family Violence Prevention team at KAFS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Services, Social Work, Criminology, Psychology, Indigenous Studies, Justice Studies, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized reintegration planning and systems navigation.
• Support housing, employment, education, and healthcare access.
• Facilitate WAV group sessions and one-on-one coaching.
• Collaborate with CSC, BC Corrections, Indigenous justice groups and Elders.
