Job description

K’en T’em is seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in business administration to join our team as a Cultural Heritage Logistics Coordinator for this field season. All work is office-based, primarily at the Highland Valley Copper Mine site. Must have own transportation. On-the-job training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Engage with KTLP’s Cultural Heritage staff to ensure effective communication of availability.
2. Ensure staff are adequately trained and certified for work at HVC and Enbridge.
3. Coordinate and schedule Cultural Heritage crew members to correct work sites.
4. Answer phone calls as needed.
5. Perform quality control of data submissions.
6. Collaborate with Finance to complete billing and invoicing for Cultural Heritage projects.
7. Adhere to internal and external health and safety programs and policies.
8. Perform all duties in accordance with KTLP policies, standards, and procedures.
9. Maintain confidentiality in all community-related matters.
10. Work as part of multi-organizational crews with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
11. Perform additional related duties as requested by the Report Supervisor/Designate.
12. Carry out other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Proven ability to coordinate and liaise effectively.
2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writing and project management.
3. Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license.
4. Experience with Indigenous Governments or Organizations is an asset.
5. Experience managing large work programs with multiple team members.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint applications.
7. Strong administrative and organizational skills.
8. Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Strong attention to detail.
11. Willingness to learn about nłeʔkepmx cultural values, protocols, and beginner nłeʔkepmxcín.
