Job summary

Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a temporary full-time role (approx. 9 months) across Credit Valley Hospital and other THP sites.

You will perform routine and specialized CT procedures, support QA, coordinate workloads, troubleshoot equipment, ensure room stocking, and collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging team to optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Must have current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and be registered with the CMRITO.
• Minimum of 1 year related CT experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to think critically and work independently; stay current within the profession.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures.
• Collaborates with the Diagnostic Imaging team to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads.
• Assist in ongoing quality assurance program; troubleshoot equipment; ensure proper stocking of rooms.

Site: Credit Valley Hospital (Must be able to work at all three sites as assigned. The Hospital retains the right to change assigned work location to any other THP site either permanently or temporarily based on operational needs. As part of our commitment to flexibility and growth, you may be required to cross-train in at least one other modality to support operational needs across THP)

Hours of Work/Shift: All Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & On-call as required); 15 hours minimum per pay period

Position Summary

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Candidates must be registered with the CMRITO
• Minimum of 1 years related experience in CT
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
• Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experience
• Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
• Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC)
