CT Technologist (Computed Tomography Technologist)

Contract Duration: 4 weeks (with possible extension)

Pay Range: $50 – $64 CAD per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
  • Prepare and position patients for CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety and ALARA principles
  • Review images for quality and completeness prior to radiologist interpretation
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using PACS/RIS systems
  • Comply with hospital policies, infection control standards, and BC regulatory requirements
Top Qualifications
  • Active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT)
  • CAMRT certification (required)
  • CT certification / advanced CT training (required or strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 6 months of recent CT experience (hospital/acute care preferred)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and patient‑care skills
  • Competitive hourly pay: $50–$65 CAD/hour
  • Travel reimbursement and accommodation allowance provided
