Job summary

Trillium Health Partners is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Program. The role supports all three THP sites (Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, Queensway Health Centre) with cross-training as needed.

Part-time (x1) position requires flexibility across days, evenings, nights and weekends. Responsibilities include performing mammography procedures, maintaining safety, collaborating with the imaging team, and delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Current C.M.R.I.T.O. & C.A.M.R.T. Registration in good standing.
• Previous experience in Mammography required.
• Excellent patient care and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of mammography procedures and operate relevant equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment for coworkers, patients and visitors.

Position Summary

• Ability to perform all types of mammography procedures and proficient working knowledge of all aspects of all relevant mammography equipment.
• Maintains a safe working environment for co-workers, patients and visitors
• Participates in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and procedures as required.
• Collaborates with other diagnostic imaging team members to optimize use of available resources.
• Supports a customer-focused environment.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Current C.M.R.I.T.O. & C.A.M.R.T. Registration, in good standing
• Previous experience in areas of Mammography required
• Strong organizational skills combined with strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with strong team approach attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to provide excellent customer service
• Positive work and attendance record is essential
