Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography/Interventional Radiation Technologist to join our Medical Imaging department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. This permanent part-time opportunity involves performing CT and interventional procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

Qualifications

• Experience with special procedures in computed tomography and interventional radiology.
• Ability to assist Radiologists during procedures.
• Proficiency in utilizing RIS and PACS systems.

• Assist Radiologists and input patient data into systems.
• Provide training direction to student technologists.

About the Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs special procedures such as computer tomography (CT), and/or interventional, as designated. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Permanent Part‑Time (0.50) opportunity

Shifts of work will be scheduled rotating days, evenings and nights.
