Job summary

Becklar is hiring a part-time alarm monitoring agent to rapidly process alarm signals and coordinate with authorities as needed. The role requires reliable availability for day/evening shifts, weekend work, and a commitment to 2 weeks of paid training.

You will document responses, learn new software, and support subscribers while maintaining composure in stressful situations. Starting pay is $17.50/hour with potential to earn up to $18.00/hour after 90 days; Graves positions start at $18.50/hour

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
• This is a 24/7 operation requiring weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally in stressful situations.
• Dispatch authorities to subscribers' locations during emergencies and verify help is on the way.
• Assist alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure proper operation.
• Document all alarm responses clearly in the computer system.
• Learn and use new software to manage multiple tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training for accurate alarm handling and growth.

To ensure each team member gets schedule flexibility you must be willing to work 1 weekend day each week or every other weekend.
