Eassons Transportation Group in Kentville, NS is seeking a Truck Driver for a two-person cross-border team. Class 1 experience and cross-border readiness are required to join our expanding national fleet.

The role offers $63,500 to $89,500 CAD annually, 40 to 50 hours per week, on-site work, and a comprehensive benefits package. Vacancies total 10, with immediate starts possible for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of commercial trucking experience.
• Valid Class 1 or A license with appropriate endorsements.
• Air Brake Endorsement or related credentials are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive Class 1 or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition; inspect tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption.
