Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. is seeking a Company Driver for long-haul cross-border routes between Canada and the U.S. You will be on the road 5 to 10 days at a time, averaging 10K to 12K miles per month, with a flexible schedule including weekend departures.

Earn a $1,500 sign-on bonus and weekly pay. Candidates must have 24 months tractor-trailer experience, be U.S. qualified, and hold a valid Class 1/AZ license. Safety-first values and reliable, punctual work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be U.S. qualified.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months Highway 17 experience.
• CP Rail experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must hold a valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion.
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Values safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive 5–10 days on the road at a time; average 10K–12K miles monthly.
• Operate cross-border Canada/U.S. long-haul routes.
• Weekend departures and on-call dispatch as needed.
• Load and unload assistance as required.

Job description

$1500 Sign on Bonus. Earn an avg. of $6900/month. Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 10 days at a time, averaging 10K to 12K miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul

• Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states
• Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
• Required to drive 17 in Ontario, 12 months a year
• Required to drive U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
• Averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month (regional freight will be required)
• Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Candidate Profile:

• Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must be U.S. qualified
