Job summary

Bison Transport Inc. in Mississauga, ON, is looking for a Company Driver to haul Canada/U.S. freight. You will average about 2,500 miles weekly, on the road 5–7 days at a time, servicing Ontario, Quebec, and the U.S. Midwest on open-board lanes.

Candidates should have 24 months tractor-trailer experience, be U.S. qualified with a valid Class 1/AZ license, and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more. A $750 sign-on bonus and consistent weekly pay are offered.

Responsibilities

Job description

$750 Sign on Bonus. Earn an avg. of $7150/month. Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time, averaging 2,500 miles per week. Primarily running open-board Canada/U.S. in Ontario, Quebec, and the Midwest U.S.

• Must be willing to drive in all Canadian Provinces and U.S. States to support varying customer and freight requirements
• Must be willing to drive in the Northeast U.S. if required
• Regional freight will be required
• Required to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months a year
• Ability to pull refrigerated freight if available
• Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol

Candidate Profile:

• Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must be U.S. qualified
• Must have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
