Job summary

Holland Power Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager – Emergency Response to coordinate planning, activation, and execution of cross-border restoration responses for utility clients across Canada and the United States.

Reporting to the Director of Storm Administration, you will manage resource availability, rosters, deployment readiness, mobilization, and ongoing requirements while aligning with internal teams and client contracts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in utility storm restoration or emergency response.
• Strong understanding of crew deployment and staffing for restoration events.
• Ability to interpret contract requirements related to mobilization and timekeeping.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational contact for utility clients and aggregators before, during, and after activations.
• Coordinate storm activations across divisions, including resource availability and crew assignments.
• Oversee deployment logistics and cross-border requirements for crews and equipment.
• Maintain understanding of contracts, staffing, travel, and reimbursement specifics.
• Monitor restoration events and coordinate adjustments and escalation as needed.
• Collaborate with Billing to support accurate reconciliation and invoicing.
• Develop readiness procedures, callout checklists, and contingency plans.
