Job summary

ENERCON Canada is seeking a Grid Operations Coordinator to provide real-time technical support to wind turbine maintenance and commissioning technicians, focusing on HV switchgear safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has HV expertise, speaks English and French, and can travel within Canada and to Germany up to 6 weeks per year. This role is remote with on-site elements and requires SAP/MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and operating HV electrical grid equipment.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel occasionally within Canada and to Germany (up to 6 weeks per year).

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations on HV grid equipment at wind farms.
• Track and maintain a history of HV equipment interventions.
• Act as technical expert for maintenance and installation technicians on HV systems.
• Draft and review work instructions for HV grid systems.
• Support continuous improvement of fault resolution processes and alert management for HV systems.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions (TSIs) for HV equipment.
• Develop and validate planned work procedures for HV grid systems.
• Provide status reports on transformers, circuit breakers, and other HV equipment.
