Job summary

Southlake Health in Newmarket, ON is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary, part-time position in a fast-paced acute medical unit. The RN will deliver high-quality care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patient flow while adhering to CNO standards.

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• BScN preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required.
• Current ACLS certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, including emergency codes.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Works collaboratively to provide care for complex health issues.
• Assists in orientation/preceptorship of new staff and students.
