Providence Health Care is appointing a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Educational Program at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.

The role offers funded education through BCIT and placement in the Cath Lab upon successful completion, with strong support for orientation, seminars, simulations and ongoing learning. The program supports growth across interdisciplinary teams, with dedicated guidance and opportunities to develop clinical skills in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• PHC will fund Post-Basic Education for eligible applicants; includes tuition and wage support.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient status and plans nursing care using clinical judgement.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
• Provides teaching to patients and families integrated into care.
• Leads and supports other nurses and health care professionals.
