Prince Albert Safe Shelter For Women Inc. provides crisis intervention support to women and children residing at the Shelter.

The Crisis Intervention Worker helps maintain a safe and supportive environment and assists with safety planning, referrals, resources, and daily needs. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintain professional boundaries, complete required documentation, and respond calmly in crisis situations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year certificate in a human services field or three years of related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Respectful and non-judgmental approach when working with clients.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Safe Food Handling certification.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
