Job summary

Chrono Aviation, based in Quebec City with Montreal and Quebec City bases, seeks a Crew Scheduler to develop and optimize monthly crew rosters for pilots and flight attendants. You will ensure compliance with flight, duty, and rest rules and support ongoing operations with precise scheduling tools.

The role requires French fluency and English working knowledge, 1–2 years in crew scheduling or airline ops, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• : Must have high school diploma; training in logistics, aviation, scheduling, or related field is an asset.
• : 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in crew scheduling, flight dispatch, or airline operations.
• : Knowledge of CARs Subparts 703, 704 and 705; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
• : Strong real-time problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• : Fluent in French; working knowledge of English for cross-border and international coordination.

Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.

After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has expanded its fleet to 12 aircraft and employs over 200 people. Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 189 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.

Role and context

The Crew Scheduler analyzes operational requirements and crew availability to develop, modify, and optimize schedules for pilots and flight attendants. The role ensures compliance with applicable flight, duty, and rest requirements while supporting operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

Specific job requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in crew scheduling, flight dispatch, or airline operations
• Knowledge of CARs (Subparts 703, 704 and 705) required; experience with AIMS or another crew management system is an asset
• Strong real-time problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities

• Fluency in French is required for this role. Professional working knowledge of English is also required because the position regularly communicates with English‑speaking crew members and operational partners in Canada and internationally, including during schedule changes and operational irregularities.
