Job summary

Chrono Aviation, based in Quebec City with Montreal and Quebec City bases, seeks a Crew Scheduler to develop and optimize monthly crew rosters for pilots and flight attendants. You will ensure compliance with flight, duty, and rest rules and support ongoing operations with precise scheduling tools.

The role requires French fluency and English working knowledge, 1–2 years in crew scheduling or airline ops, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• : Must have high school diploma; training in logistics, aviation, scheduling, or related field is an asset.
• : 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in crew scheduling, flight dispatch, or airline operations.
• : Knowledge of CARs Subparts 703, 704 and 705; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
• : Strong real-time problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• : Fluent in French; working knowledge of English for cross-border and international coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify monthly crew schedules and assign crew members to flights based on operational requirements.
• Apply Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) regarding flight, duty, and rest requirements.
• Analyze availability, qualifications, and constraints to optimize crew utilization.
• Collaborate with chief pilots, dispatchers, and coordinators.
• Maintain scheduling tools (AIMS or other).
• Track qualifications, training, and renewals.
• Communicate schedules and changes clearly to crew members.
• Document scheduling changes and exceptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling practices.
• Operate with attention to detail, under pressure, and with reliability.
