Job summary

Cargojet is Canada\'s leading provider of time-sensitive overnight air cargo services. The Crew Scheduler will work under the Manager, Crew Scheduling in the Cargojet Control Centre to manage rotating shifts and crewing needs across a dynamic network.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with flight operations or scheduling software is an asset, and ability to work irregular hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required.
• Previous flight operations experience an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset.
• Working knowledge of VMO or other scheduling software an asset.
• Ability to work irregular hours and shift patterns.
• Ability to make crucial decisions under pressure with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform Crew Scheduling duties in the Cargojet CCC (Crew Scheduling) operations for rotating shifts.
• Monitor operations to determine required adjustments to crewing needs and staffing.
• Arrange transport and hotel requirements during irregular operations.
• Staff short-notice charters and other non-planned flights if required.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
