The successful candidate will handle rotating shifts, coordinate transport and hotel arrangements, and respond to inquiries with professionalism, contributing to on-time flights and efficient crew

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations is an asset.
• Working knowledge of VMO or other scheduling software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Crew Scheduling duties in the CCC operations for rotating shifts.
• Monitor operations to determine required crewing adjustments and staffing impacts.
• Arrange transport and hotel requirements during irregular operations.
• Staff short-notice charters and other non-planned flights if required.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Manager, Crew Scheduling the successful candidate will function as a Crew Scheduler in the Cargojet Control Centre (CCC).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform Crew Scheduling duties in the Cargojet YHM CMC operations for rotating shifts.
• Monitor operations to determine required adjustments to crewing needs and the effects on subsequent staffing requirements.
• Arrange transport and hotel requirements during irregular operations.
• Staff short-notice charters and other non-planned flights if required.
• Responding to phone and email inquires in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Customer Service experience required.
• Previous flight operations experience an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations an asset.
• Working knowledge of VMO or other scheduling software an asset.
• Ability to work irregular hours and shift patterns.
• Ability to work well under time and resource constraints within a team environment.
• Ability to make crucial decisions under pressure with minimal supervision.
