Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular review of AR aging to identify delinquent balances and prioritize collection efforts, focusing on outstanding balances and invoice aging to improve results year over year.
  • Collaborate with Business Divisions to address delinquent, unresolved aged balances, and disputes.
  • Review customer accounts and process refunds, unapplied cash, credits, and adjustments as applicable.
  • Educate customers on payment terms, contractual obligations, and the consequences of late or non-payment.
  • Implement professional collection efforts to improve collection rates while maintaining client relationships.
  • Perform account reconciliations, trace invoicing and payment history, and handle allocations and adjustments across multiple accounts and divisions.
  • Maintain detailed notes on all past due accounts and document collection methods and actions taken.
  • Provide administrative support and handle customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
  • Follow up on unclear payments and perform skip tracing to update contact and billing information.
  • Identify and report risks related to bankruptcy and collection activities.
  • Build and maintain internal processes for transaction processing, including write-offs, and review system updates and community discussions for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payment allocations and updates.
  • Encourage clients to use faster and safer payment methods such as PAD, wire, online, or EFT to streamline collections and reduce receivables and risk.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of collections experience.
  • Excellent quantitative and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to track transactions over long periods.
  • Persistence in pursuing outstanding receivables despite resistance.
  • Effective communication skills to resolve issues and handle customer concerns.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; Workday ERP experience is a plus.

What We Offer:
