Atlantic Packaging, a proudly Canadian-owned company with over 80 years in the corrugated packaging industry, is seeking a Corrugated Packaging Specialist in Brampton. You will design structural packaging, develop complex dyelines and ensure production-ready prototypes that balance protection with presentation for diverse client needs.

This role combines creativity, technical know-how and hands-on production awareness to optimize board usage and workflow.

Qualifications

3+ years in structural packaging design, preferably corrugated.
Advanced CAD table operations and Esko-enabled cutting/prototyping.
Strong knowledge of ArtiosCAD or equivalent Esko software.
Design production-ready prototypes and dyelines for digital corrugated production.
Understanding structural engineering for corrugated products and assembly efficiency.
Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Experience presenting design solutions to clients is an asset.

Responsibilities

Support design of structural packaging and complex boxes, trays and die-cut items.
Develop dyelines for Esko digital cutting and prototyping tables.
Prototype, test and refine packaging structures for fit and manufacturability.
Collaborate with Production, Sales, Estimating and Technical teams on constraints.
Guide the design team on best practices and ensure design quality.
Stay current on packaging trends, materials and technologies.
