Job summary

Canad Inns in Brandon, MB is seeking a Cook 2 to create appealing, high-quality dishes for outlets and banquets. You will assist chefs with menu execution, production of salads and desserts, and ensure quality presentation for guests.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle short-order tasks, and maintain strong hygiene standards. Food Handler & WHMIS certificates are required; Criminal Background Check may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Ability to prepare dishes for outlets, banquets, buffers, and à la carte.
• Maintain high quality plating and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen tasks and maintain cleanliness.
• Prepare plates per Canad Inns standards and guest requests.
• Wrap, label and date all food.
• Communicate effectively with culinary staff.
• Support Buffet Attendant/Prep Cook as needed.
