Job summary

Canad Inns is seeking a Cook 3 to join our team in Manitoba. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting the kitchen team with food preparation and plating.

You will handle omelets, sauté stations, cold buffet prep, and ensure proper food safety practices. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Able to work days, evenings and/or weekends.
• Detail-oriented, organized and reliable.
• Multi-tasks efficiently with limited supervision.
• Professional attitude and expectations.
• Lift and carry trays up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

Canad Inns iscurrently seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.As an ambassador for the kitchen, representing all Outlets; the Cook 3 serves the public with a professional, friendly and upbeat attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Answer all guest inquiries regarding food choices.
• Anticipate and tend to all guest needs.
• Assist with the development of cost control systems to reduce waste in food, supplies, and labour.
• Assist the Cook as necessary.
• Ensure Hot Food is Hot & Cold Food is Cold.
• Cook omelets, sauté stations, prepare cold buffet, banquet salads, platters, prep, dish up food and prep where required.
• Wrap, label and date all food.
• May also be required to complete the responsibilities of the Kitchen Steward in the absence of one.

• Can acquire Criminal Background Check and Food Handler & WHMIS certificates.
