Job summary

The Alberta Energy Regulator is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support the Core Research Centre and catalog orders. The role emphasizes precise processing of access requests, billing, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate facility bookings, manage tours, and liaise with internal experts to ensure accurate data handling while safeguarding confidentiality and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Petroleum Land Administration or a closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years in a customer-facing or administrative role in the energy sector.
• Strong listening and written/verbal communication skills.
• Professional and courteous with customers.
• Aptitude for learning new software tools.
• Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage CRC facility bookings and core viewing requests in CIMS.
• Process orders from the AER Products and Services Catalogue and billing tools.
• Fulfill tour information requests via Tour Repository Tool and OneStop platform.
• Research requests and perform confidential checks with AER guidelines.
• Process billing to customer accounts using SAP and Moneris.
• Provide high level customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform daily MS Office tasks (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Maintain CRC chemical cabinet and ensure WHMIS labeling.
