Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Crane Truck Driver in Calgary to deliver equipment to customers safely and efficiently. You will operate an automatic boom truck, dropping off propane cylinders, generators and other temp heating gear while maintaining courteous service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid Class 5 license with Air brake endorsement, 6 months experience (1 year preferred), ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and strong communication skills with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with Air brake endorsement.
• 6 months of driving or related experience; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.

As a Crane Truck Driver at United Rentals, your goal will be to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient and courteous manner. You will operate an automatic boom truck, delivering hard goods (propane cylinders), generators, and other temp heating equipment to our customers.

What you'll do:

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers


• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations


• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers' other needs


• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Valid Class 5 driver's license with acceptable driving record with Air brake endorsement


• 6 months experience, 1 year preferred


• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.


• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills


• Diligent attention to safety
