Job summary

United Rentals in Canada is hiring a Crane Truck Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and efficiently. You will operate an automatic boom truck and handle items such as propane cylinders, generators, and temp heating equipment with a focus on courteous service.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class 5 license with air brake endorsement, and 6 months of experience (1 year preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with Air brake endorsement.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSR.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with acceptable driving record with Air brake endorsement
• 6 months experience, 1 year preferred
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Diligent attention to safety

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
