Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Crane Truck Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner. You will operate an F250 or F550 boom truck delivering propane cylinders, generators and other temp heating equipment.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up equipment, complying with safety rules and regulations, and providing excellent customer service. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class 3 or Class 5 driver’s license with Air brake endorsement and clean driving record.
• 6 months’ experience; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs frequently.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.
• Diligent attention to safety.

• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

As a Crane Truck Driver at United Rentals, your goal will be to deliver equipment to our customers in a safe, timely, efficient and courteous manner. You will operate an F250 or F550 automatic boom truck, delivering hard goods (propane cylinders), generators, and other temp heating equipment to our customers.

• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers’ other needs
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class 3 or Class 5 driver’s license with acceptable driving record with Air brake endorsement
• 6 months experience, 1 year preferred
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Diligent attention to safety
